Yarn choice and local production
Merino is known for softness. We chose it for more than that. For our winter crewneck and cardigan we wanted a yarn with a clear origin, clean chemistry and a richer colour story. We use the Imagine line from E. Miroglio supplied through Raumer, an extrafine Merino spun, dyed and finished in the European Union under strict controls. The melange shade card blends subtle tones inside the fibre so the knit reads calm and refined on the body. We knit locally with SOMPUNT in L’Espluga Calba near Barcelona so we can follow each step and solve issues early. We are not perfect. We improve season after season and share both progress and limits.
Standards you can trust
Trust starts with standards and documentation. Our Imagine lots are requested as non mulesed. The yarn units operate under OEKO TEX Standard 100 so components are tested for harmful substances at limits that protect human health. Dyes and finishes align with the EU REACH rulebook on chemicals. We keep batch papers on file and only state standards that apply to the exact colour and delivery. Technically, Imagine is offered in classic flat knit counts such as Nm 2/30 and 2/36 that suit gauges from 12 to 14, which helps us balance drape, weight and recovery. Before any production we swatch, wash and measure to lock real behaviour for shrink, growth and hand.
Feel, durability and local impact
What you feel is the result of these choices. Extrafine Merino sits smooth on skin, manages moisture and regulates temperature. Careful spinning and finishing keep a neat silhouette with fewer pills when you wear and care well. The melange tones add quiet depth and pair easily with everyday outfits while hiding wear better than flat dyes. Making near Barcelona reduces back and forth sampling and keeps accountability simple. It is not a slogan. It is a practical way to cut waste and keep attention on the people behind each step.
Care guide and winter capsule
Care is simple and strict. Wash cold or at 30°C on a wool cycle with a mild wool detergent. No bleach. No softener. Dry flat on a clean towel and store folded. Do not wring. Do not tumble. Our finishing aims for stability, so shrink stays low when you follow care and the shape holds season after season.
